Podcast: Play in new window
Thanks for your show, I have been using a paired trade long OEF and short EFA, it has been working for me for the last 4 months with the exception of a few days here and there.
Do you believe that the US markets will continue to outperform Europe despite the fiscal cliff?
Also I picked up GLD and looking to add to the position.
Us vs Europa?—Oh Yes!
Ed thank you so much for your hard work with the charts and chart patterns. Love to hear your insight twice a week. This is a very difficult time in the market as we try to protect our capital and gains. Love your insight in the market patterns. I believe we will know the next move in the market shortly. It appears to me in looking at the charts that we could push to 1335 – 1340 before rolling over. It sure looks like we are in an ABC correction which there appears to be a big C leg down coming to take us back to the 1200 area. We bounced off the B point at the 1266 which was support going back to Dec 2011. The 1335 level will be tough to push through and we could be the beginning of the C leg down. For sure the 1335 area will be very telling as to the next move in the market. Ed, do you feel that the market will see 1050 S&P before it will see 1450 and do you see the charts setting up for a very ugly 2013 year? Thanks again Ed….long time listener, Jay
Thank you Jay. Will take these on the Tuesday broadcast.
Thanks so much for your views. They are honestly a part of my routine. I would be crushed if you stopped them.
I’m new into investing and your approach to the markets is very good. You call it like it is.
I’ll have some questions for you in the upcoming weeks as we gain some clarity on this situation. The one thing I know for sure is that when I am scared of the market I make money. When I’m confident in it…I lose. This is, at least, what my journal writings tell me.
You’ve mentioned the term “ABC-X-ABC wave” in the past. Can you please elaborate on what the X wave looks like after the C wave and do you think that is what we are currently undergoing having finished the C wave at 1269?
Thanks in advance for the great work you do.
